About Lisa
Lisa Merry is an MFT Intern with Marriage & Family Matters Counseling group in Mission Viejo, CA. www.mfmcounseling.com
She is passionate about helping individuals and couples overcome any obstacles to having healthy, thriving, loving marriages. She has over 1o years of experience as a Lay Counselor and 17 years in 12 step recovery.
She has been a leader in Celebrate Recovery at Saddleback Church for 15 years. She is the founder of the COSA group for wives of sex addicts, and Assimilation Coach.
She loves to teach about recovery issues and share her personal testimony about how living a life focused on God has helped her overcome a traumatic childhood, including the murder of her mother when she was 19. By realizing her worth and value comes from God, she has changed all of her relationships and it has given her life a purpose to help others.
She is married to Peter Merry and has two grown sons, Eric & Jason.
